A newer WLW Technorati tag generator is discussed at :
http://wlwplugins.com/livewriter-technorati-plugin.php
and can be found at:
http://franksworld.com/blog/archive/2006/09/15/4220.aspx

another is discussed at:
http://wlwplugins.com/insert-technorati-tags.php
and can be found at:
http://www.treeratfishing.com/2006/09/12/wlw-plugin-insert-technorati-tags/

While reading up on these plug-in I found I really enjoyed Cynthia's blog on Windows Live Writer Plug-ins. Check it out if you get a chance.

Paul,
When I use the Bookmarklet in my browser to add tags it replaces spaces with +.
I didn't even notice Windows Live Writer uses %20. does Technorati handle them differently?
Anyway it seems like a WLW plug-in might be your solution. There's a post at:
http://wlwplugins.com/multiple-tag-custom-tagging-for-wlw.php
that may work for you.
Thanks for the question.

Have you figured out how to edit WLW tags to have a + between tags instead of adding the %20 ??

I know you can edit the tag info but have not figure out how to do this. So its posting with spaces which I prefer not to do.

JR,
Thanks for the comments. I really appreciate your insights.
Funny, I had played with the hyperlink function but I gave up because I didn't figure out the relationship between the edit, preview, and published spreadsheets. I have use the function on one column at:
http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pv54njWhxOy1plgynf98DYw

I also added a link to my personal web site and to the first IMDB link.

If I understand your second point, I can use a link like:
http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pv54njWhxOy00Y-BKWcaqHQ&hl=en_US&newcopy
and the recipient will be working with a fresh copy of my invoice, sort of like a template functions. This is such a good idea that Google should have a button called share as a template or something like that. Perfect for blank forms like my generic invoice and audit forms.

Thanks again for taking the time to comment on my work.

Hey Craig - nice spreadsheets you have... just 2 tips for you:
1 - it's good to always have at least 1 cell in your published sheets which contain some link back to your site... you can either justput a complete URL in a cell and it will become an active link, or use the -hyperlink() function like this:
=hyperlink("http://effectiveconcepts.wordpress.com","Craig's Blog") - if you want more friendly text on the link.

2 - if you add the &newcopy parameter to a link to the shared spreadsheet, it becomes a "template" giving people who click it their own copy of your spreadsheet (rather than joining them into a collaborative session on your copy)... This should be done using the link from the share tab where you enable "Anyone can view".... Seems that would be useful fora bunch of the spreadsheets you published in this post...

Have fun!

Ramit,
A couple things would greatly improve the spreadsheet plug-in.

1. Be able to resize the spreadsheet plug-in. I thought it might be possible using the classic edit mode and overriding the width and height, but that didn't work.

2. Have some way to export the data out of the spreadsheet even if it's just tab delimited text to the clipboard.

3. It might also be good if we could upload an Excel spreadsheets.

I know working with the Excel spreadsheets might be difficult but I would think the first two would be do able and would make the spreadsheet more usable.

Although I was disappointed with the spreadsheet plug-in, I still really like the pbwiki and the new features you have added.

Gotta admit that I just go ahead and add in the categories myself. I've used Lorelle's tagging system in the past but a lot of the computers I use don't allow one to add in their own bookmarks so I'm stuck.

Plus we have the drop down lists of categories now so it does make things easier.
